Name the exact model versions
Model families contain multiple releases and hosted variants. Record the checkpoint, provider, settings, and test date before comparing outputs. This page is a selection framework, not a benchmark or a claim that one model wins.
Run a controlled creative test
Prepare ten prompts covering your real tasks. Include short text, a difficult composition, a product scene, and an illustration. Use matching image dimensions and multiple seeds. Keep a record of both successful and unsuccessful outputs.
Score the things that matter
Measure prompt adherence, readable text, composition, time to usable image, and cost including retries. Review license terms separately for the exact checkpoint you use. Pick the model that reduces your total production effort, not just the one with the most striking sample.
