Describe the image, then the details

Start with the subject and medium: a studio product photograph, an editorial illustration, or a travel poster. Add the setting, palette, lighting, and framing. Keep the most important instructions near the beginning and remove contradictory descriptions.

Give text its own instruction

Put the exact words you want in quotation marks. Describe where they belong and how they should look. For example: a cream coffee label, the words “SLOW MORNINGS” centered in dark green serif lettering, with a small botanical drawing below.

Iterate with intention

If the subject is right but the layout is wrong, change the layout instruction while keeping the rest of the prompt. Save the seed when available so you can compare changes more deliberately. Proofread all generated text before publishing your image.
